Kevin Kanarek is a website producer and content editor based in Albany N.Y. He holds a BA in English and French from SUNY at Albany and a masters degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).

In recent years, Kevin has specialized in cultural, academic and educational projects, as well as working with local businesses to build and refine their online presence. Current and recent projects include a website, e-commerce and events ticketing system for a bookstore and performance space, website updates and reorganization for the Rifkind Center at City College, an e-commerce website and ongoing advertising and marketing consulting for a manufacturer of historic lighting, as well as websites and marketing consulting for local businesses, and other marketing and content-driven projects. 

Previously he worked with several media projects and documentary film makers in the San Francisco Bay Area to raise awareness of their work and of sustainability issues through online media. He also worked as a translator / technical trainer for the OECD in Paris; a teacher / teacher trainer in New York, serving both public and private schools K through 12; and an education technology consultant for the Bertelsmann Foundation, working with teachers and their classes to promote media literacy and critical thinking through project-based learning.
